DeMolay Australia - Building Tomorrow's Leaders Today

I want to start a DeMolay Chapter

Excellent news!!!  Just what we want to hear 🙂

We must tell you it’s a huge task but also a very rewarding one.

To begin with, please have a look at our How to Start a DeMolay Chapter guide.

You will note that we want:

  • A minimum of 10 adult members (over 21 years of age) for your Formation Committee (three of whom must each become a DeMolay Trainer Advisor
    (click here for more details) before you can start the process; and then
  • A minimum of 15 confirmed prospective youth members (between the ages of 12+ and <21 years) to start a Chapter.

These are firm minimum requirements based on our past experience because they work.

We are happy to provide you with all the assistance and support we can but we can’t compromise on these requirements.

Where and how will you find the 10 members of your Formation Committee?
(consider local Freemasons [they will understand the basic concept], School P & C’s, Rotary, Apex , Lions, church and so on)

Where and how will you find the 15 youth members required to start?
(your Formation Committee should be able to help here)

Detail how you will maintain a Chapter of at least 15 youth members and 6 Adult Leaders (Trained Advisors) into the future
